***AFRICA RISING EXCLUSIVE***
Please find below the current schedule for the 2027 ‘Africa Tour‘, all the UCI classified multi-stage and one day road races across the continent, alongside all individual National Championships – a key source of UCI points.
Although four events from 2026 are not showing on the calendar so far – these are the Tour du Faso (Burkina Faso), the 3-stage Grand Prix El Djazaïr and 2 one day GPs in Algeria, there are TWELVE new events in 2027, including the Tour of Ghana making its UCI debut at the 2.1 level alongside the Tour du Rwanda. We believe the Tour of Faso will take place as a UCI race in 2027 but as yet unconfirmed.
Another huge step forward is the inclusion of four new women events: a women’s Tour of Mauritius, elite and junior women’s tours and new one day race in Rwanda, and a rumour of a FIFTH, with a women’s Tour of Faso being looked at as well!
