Please find below a list of all the gold medal winners (African Champions) at this year’s African Continental Championships, hosted by the Ghanaian Cycling Federation from 8-17 February.
In terms of gold medals, Team Algeria simply dominated the event, taking eight medals across all categories. Serious kudos to Team Mauritius in second place (four golds) who really showed up at these championships, with a strategic eye on 2023 Worlds and 2024 Olympic qualification spots. These African Continental Championships were important not only for the 2024 Olympic qualification but they set the tone for countries to watch leading up to the 2025 UCI World Championships on African soil.
